Raw-material control begins with understanding fibre source, morphology, cleanliness, storage and the way preparation changes drainage and strength.

Feedstock is not a specification

The name bagasse, bamboo or straw does not fully describe process behaviour. Fibre length distribution, fines, ash, pith, contaminants, moisture and prior treatment matter.

Storage changes material

Biological material can degrade, absorb moisture or collect contamination. Storage and handling should preserve consistency before pulping begins.

Build acceptance criteria

Incoming inspection should connect measurable material characteristics to process response and final-product performance.

Practical implication

Evaluate the complete system rather than one isolated input or machine. Define the requirement, identify the variables that influence it, measure the result and retain what the factory learns.
